Applications for use of Parks
The Clerk also submitted an application from Mr. Thomas Harper, Secretary of the Selly Oak and Bournbrook Childrens’ Festival requesting permission to hold the Festival in the Selly Oak Park on July 15th 1908.
Resolved to recommend:- That the request be granted on condition that all damage which may be occasioned to the park is made good.
The Clerk also submitted an application from Mr. F. Tubbs, Secretary of the Selly Oak and Bournbrook Nurses Society requesting the use of the Selly Oak Park on July 18th 1908, for the purpose of holding the charity sports in connection with that Society.
Resolved to recommend:- That the request be granted.
